I don’t know about you, but I LOVE candles. But do you ever buy a candle that smells really good in the store and when you get it home and burn it the smell all goes away? Or it makes black sooty marks everywhere?
Scents in Soy – All Natural, Highly Fragrant Pure Soy Candles
When I came across this shop last October, I was curious about this “clean-burning” soy that the candles were made from. Let me tell you… they are some of the BEST candles I have ever bought (and I’ve bought A LOT of candles). I bought two 8 oz candles - a Cinnamon Stick and a Pumpkin Spice. I’ve completely burned the Cinnamon Stick and I’m kind of savoring and saving the rest of the Pumpkin Spice for fall to arrive again.
Here is a picture of my half-burned Pumpkin Spice candle. See how clean it burns? My Cinnamon Stick left me with a basically clean, empty tin at the end, but unfortunately I must have tossed it sometime between then and now. Also, the fragrance is just as strong now as it was the first time I opened the tin.
So, when I decided I was going to start doing these weekly Etsy giveaways, one of my first thoughts was to contact Scents in Soy. Shop owner Kathy has generously offered one of her 8 oz candles to a Little Sprout Growing follower!
Here’s what Kathy has to say about her candles:
