Last night the Little Guy and I made some Shamrock Sugar Cookies. Yum!
He "helped" me mix up the dough and roll it out.
He really enjoys cutting them out - although I tend to be a little bit of a perfectionist about the process apparently.
I then found some leftover icing from my husband's birthday cake in February and colored it with green food coloring. I also found some green sugar sprinkles leftover from Christmas! =)
I frosted them and then let him do the sprinkles!
We talked about what a Shamrock is and what color they are. All part of our Mommy School unit this month.... although this project has the added benefit of getting to eat it!
Yay!
